In most aspects, Grass Fed beef reigns supreme from its Grain Fed competition. It has higher Omega 3, Vitamin E and Vitmain A levels. Although this substanital difference in nutrients has its cost. Because of the high Omega 3 levels, a certain smell is added to the beef. This smell is seen as repulsive, and unnapealing. Additionally, when the cattle have the ability to move around builds up muscle, causing the meat to have less fat and be chewier than most people prefer.
